The torwart.de-Blockpad was developed together with goalkeeper coaches from the German Bundesliga.
The blockpad enables the goalkeeper coach to simulate the direct body contact of an attacker at high balls. In addition, the torwart.de-Blockpad offers the possibility that the goalkeeper coach can simulate targeted and massive head shots and volleys with crossings.
By arranging four handles in two different directions, the Blockpad can be moved in different shapes and sizes and horizontally or vertically in the direction of the ball and the goalkeeper.
Advantages of the torwart.de-Blockpad:
- Create and train game-like training exercises for goalkeepers
- Air filling, so that shocks and blows between goalkeeper and goalkeeper during the fight for the ball are cushioned softly.

Applications:
- Simulation of a very active opponent during the training of space defense (crossings and high balls), standard situations (corner balls, free kicks from the half field).
- The torwart.de-Blockpad can be used to "bodycheck" the goalkeeper or, in the case of balls that the goalkeeper cannot reach, the goalkeeper trainer can shoot the ball directly at the goal by simulating a head shot or volley shot to train goal defense and reaction ability.
- The goalkeeper coach can use the torwart.de-Blockpad as a sight restriction for shots to the goal or to deflect the ball into the goal.
The torwart.de-Blockpad is used by many different professional soccer teams, such as RB Leipzig, Borussia Dortmund, VfL Wolfsburg, DFB, Hertha BSC .
Material of the torwart.de-Blockpad
The torwart.de-Blockpad is made of high-quality flexible PVC that has been processed with plasticizers. These ensure the necessary flexibility and elasticity of the material and make it ideal for inflatable products that are under pressure and have to withstand high movements. Thanks to the special composition, the material remains stable and dimensionally stable even under intensive use.
