- URG 2.0: Newly developed adhesive foam from adidas, which is used for the first time in the Spring/Summer 2019 collection. The covering consists of 3.5 mm extremely soft foam and an additional damping layer. This results in outstanding impact absorption. The very high grip in all weather conditions in combination with a further improved durability make this adhesive foam a perfect choice for all ambitious goalkeepers. The URG 2.0 is comparable to the predecessor adhesive foam Evo Zone Tech, which was previously used in adidas top gloves.
- Abrasion Zone: In order to increase the longevity of the glove, an abrasion-resistant latex coating is used. Tests have shown that wear is greatest in the "abrasion zone". It therefore makes sense to use a more robust material at this point. However, the grip is not impaired when catching.
Cut
- Contact Maximzier: Is an innovative, special cut for a maximized contact surface with all catch and grip movements. The exclusive cut is characterized by outer seams.
- The thumb is equipped with the Negative cut and increases the ball feeling when catching.
Backhand
- Compact backhand: Very flexible backhand that adapts optimally to the hand.
- Punching Zone: The Punching Zone is the newly designed, highly flexible fist defense area on the backhand that has been specially adapted to the newly designed backhand of the Predator model. The aim of the slightly broken fist elements is to give the goalkeeper the possibility to continue and control the fist without losing stability or losing flexibility. The Punching Zone, made of very flexible silicone, was used instead of a latex material, as this would absorb too much force at the fist. This silicone material provides safe and non-slip fist. So it is not so much the damping that is in the foreground, but rather optimal ball control with the greatest possible power transmission. The fingers do not lose any mobility and remain very flexible.
- Exchangeable Wrist Control: This lightweight construction consists of three different parts, which are worked into the backhand in the area of the wrist to prevent the wrist from bending and stretching backwards. Due to the special construction this cut offers a high flexibility.

- Close-fitting Bandage: Without unnecessary seams and without disturbing impairments the new application provides for a problem-free and individually adapted entrance. When getting in easily, no tearing or pulling is necessary, which significantly simplifies the everyday use of the top glove.
Finger protection
- Interchangeable finger protection system: The flexible and adaptable protection system protects fingers and thumbs from overloading and injuries. The ergonomically shaped, removable sticks adapt perfectly to the goalkeeper's fingers. The extremely flexible design allows the individual fingers to grip the stick without additional force, while bending the finger backwards into the injury zone is virtually impossible.
