Palm:
- URG 1.0: UnRivaled Grip 1.0 is the name of adidas' top grip foam. The grip foam is only used by adidas professionals and is offered here exclusively for you. The 4.0 mm thick foam offers an unprecedented grip performance in all conditions - both wet and dry. It impresses with its extreme softness, which provides the best impact cushioning for the goalkeeper.
The adhesive foam was specially developed for the needs of adidas professional goalkeepers such as Manuel Neuer, Kevin Trapp or Marc-André ter Stegen and is only used in the new and exclusive adidas promo models. This means that all amateur goalkeepers have the opportunity to play with the top adhesive foam used by professionals.
Please note: Due to the very soft and therefore extremely grippy adhesive foam, the abrasion of URG 1.0 is higher than that of URG 2.0. Gloves with URG 1.0 are not suitable for training and games on hard, dry surfaces, indoors or on artificial turf pitches. - Embossed palm: For a natural fit, a better feel and more freedom of movement, embossing is applied at key points on the palm.
Cut:
- Negative cut: The negative cut ensures a tight and precise fit on the fingers. The result is a perfect fit and an optimal feel for the ball. 80% of adidas professional goalkeepers play with this cut.
- Thumb Wrap: The rolled covering on the thumb provides more stability, extended grip and improved ball control.
Upperhand:
- High Definition Grip Technology: Specially attached silicone elements on the backhand ensure precise grip and control when making a fist. Compared to the older models, finer silicone elements have been used here for maximum precision and mobility. The silicone elements also improve the stability of the knitted backhand and provide support.
- Knitted glove body: The glove body and backhand are made of a new generation knitted material. This has been further optimized to ensure an even tighter and at the same time more flexible and comfortable fit. The glove hugs every hand like a second skin.
Closure:
- Knitted bandage without strap: Offers an adaptable yet secure fit for the forearm, allowing maximum freedom of movement. The modified composition of the knit compared to the rest of the glove enables a firm, secure fit on the wrist even without a strap.
