Palm/Foam

• URG 2.0: The palm consists of 3.5 mm extremely soft foam and an additional cushioning layer. This results in outstanding impact absorption. The very high grip in all weather conditions in combination with a further improved durability make this adhesive foam a perfect choice for all ambitious goalkeepers.
• Anatomical flex zones: The embossing on the fingers and on the rubber supports the natural movements of the hand and prevents bulging of the adhesive foam. This construction makes the glove even more flexible and contributes to a perfect, tight fit.
• Extended adhesive foam: The extended catching surface on the wrist provides increased grip when securing the ball.

Cut

• Negative Cut: The negative cut ensures a tight and comfortable fit on the fingers. The goalkeeper gets a perfect fit and an optimal ball feeling. 80% of adidas professional goalkeepers play with this cut.
• Improved fit: The mesh layer of the fingers is made of one piece and anatomically shaped. This leads to a very direct ball contact. Thanks to a reduced number of seams, comfort is noticeably improved.

Backhand

• Demonskin: The new backhand offers over 400 small, spiky silicone elements. The spikes are constructed like the spikes known from athletics and interact with the surface of the ball. Especially in the punching area, these silicone elements provide a high grip and therefore a very high ball control and extend the contact time of the glove with the ball, which improves the power distribution and the power transmission, so that the ball can be defended further than before when fisting. As a result, the fist defence is much more targeted, controlled and further than before. The silicone spikes also improve the stability of the mechano-Backhand without negatively influencing the flexibility.

Closure

• Detachable Stretch Strap: The Detachable Stretch Strap is a sensational new development from adidas. The new closure system offers goalkeepers the possibility to individually adjust their fit. Play without strap for a natural fit with unlimited freedom of movement or with strap for better stabilization.
• New, two-part bandage: The new bandage construction consists of two different bandage types, some of which are directly sewn together. An asymmetrical bandage, which is completely integrated into the glove body, lies on the outside and forms the outer end of the bandage. Underneath is an elastic, classic and symmetrical bandage that lies directly on the wrist and is only partially sewn to the outer mechanic bandage. This maximises wearing comfort and achieves an unusually high degree of flexibility. At the same time, this construction offers a very high degree of wrist stabilization due to its two-part structure.
• Extended entry: The extension of the entry up to the forearm ensures maximum freedom of movement while still allowing a firm, secure fit on the wrist.
