Palm/Foam
- Evo Zone Tech: The Evo Zone Tech represents the latest stage of development of adidas and combines the two foams Zone Tech (in the grip zone at the fingers and thumb) and Nova (remaining palm area). The Tech Foam consists of a unique latex compound enriched with a special adhesive and therefore has outstanding grip properties.
The special feature is that the two foams are fused together during production. This results in a seamless transition of the two foams and a perfect interplay of wearing comfort, grip and cushioning. The rubber consists of 3.5 mm foam and 4 mm cushioning. - Abrasion Zone: In order to increase the longevity of the glove, an abrasion-resistant latex rubber coating is used. Tests have shown that wear is greatest in the "abrasion zone". It therefore makes sense to use a more robust material at this point. However, the grip is not impaired when catching.
