Palm/Foam

• URG 2.0: The pad consists of 3.5 mm extremely soft foam and an additional damping layer. This results in outstanding impact absorption. The very high grip in all weather conditions in conjunction with a further improved durability make this adhesive foam a perfect choice for all ambitious goalkeepers.
• Anatomical Flex Zones: The embossings on the fingers and on the pad support the natural movements of the hand and prevent bulges in the adhesive foam. This design makes the glove even more flexible and contributes to a perfect, tight fit.
• Extended Adhesion Foam: The extended catching surface at the wrist allows for increased grip when securing the ball.

Cut

• Negative Cut: The negative cut provides a tight and comfortable fit on the fingers. The goalkeeper gets a perfect fit and an optimal feel for the ball. 80% of adidas professional goalkeepers play with this cut.
• Improved fit: The mesh layers of the fingers are made of one piece and anatomically shaped. This results in a very direct contact with the ball. Thanks to a reduced number of seams, the comfort increases again noticeably.

Backhand

• Demonskin: The new backhand features over 400 small, spike-like silicone elements. The spikes are designed like the spikes used in athletics and interact with the surface of the ball. Especially in the punching area, these silicone elements provide a high grip, thus also a very high ball control and extend the contact time of the glove with the ball, which improves the power distribution and the power transmission, so that the ball can also be defended further than before when fisting. As a result, the fist defense is much more targeted, controlled and farther than previously used. Likewise, the silicone spikes improve the stability of the Mechano backhand without negatively affecting the flexibility.
• Mechano material: The again revised, very functional Mechano material is breathable and very elastic. The lightweight fabric offers high flexibility and adapts optimally to all deformations of the goalkeeper glove.

Closure

• Detachable Stretch-Strap: The detachable stretch strap is a sensational new development from adidas. The new closure system offers goalkeepers the ability to customize their fit. Play without strap for a natural fit with unrestricted freedom of movement or with strap for better stabilization.
• New two-piece bandage: The new bandage construction consists of two different types of bandages, some of which are sewn directly together. An asymmetrical bandage, which is fully integrated into the glove body, lies on the outside and forms the outer end of the bandage. Underneath lies an elastic, classic and symmetrical bandage that lies directly against the wrist and is only partially sewn to the outer mechano-bandage. This maximizes comfort and provides an unusually high degree of flexibility. At the same time, this design provides a very high level of stabilization of the wrist due to its two-part construction.
• Extended entry: The extension of the entry to the forearm ensures maximum freedom of movement while still providing a tight, secure fit on the wrist.
