The Pure Contact Infrared Silver with its special black-orange design comes with the Reusch Grip Silver, a large volume palm foam for improved grip and shock absorption. This brand new German-made latex offers very good grip properties and an exceptionally soft grip. The FreeFlex backhand is made of neoprene with small and thin silicone applications to keep it highly flexible.
Palm/Foam
- Reusch Grip Silver: This brand new latex is made in Germany and offers very good grip properties. By adding 30% more volume compared to the previous S1, the foam offers significantly more cushioning, stability and comfort.
- Extended Grip Zone: The expansion of the adhesive foam to the lower end of the palm leads to a significantly larger contact zone between latex and ball and thus to an optimal grip.
Cut
- Evolution Negative Cut: The rubber rolls around the fingertips generating a tight fit and the largest possible latex-ball contact area for best ball control. The completely seamless fingertip area guarantees a tight fit and best ball control. An inseam construction in the lower finger area provides a very tight, flexible and anatomical shape.
- Preshaped Construction: The anatomically pre-shaped cut of the glove and the slight forward spread of the fingers support the natural catching posture of the hands.
- The unique FreeFlex™ backhand fits like a second skin and makes the Pure Contact a true revolution in terms of mobility and comfort. The neoprene construction is made from one piece and, in combination with the tight inseam cut, ensures unprecedented, incredibly direct contact with the ball.
Closure
- Asymmetric Cuff: A long closure on the outside of the wrist protects against abrasions on hard court surfaces. The elastic opening also makes it easier to put the glove on.
- Integrated Strap: Integrated into the body of the glove, this extremely flexible strap provides a quick and easy closure as well as a stable hold on the wrist.
More Features
- 3D Thumb Crotch™: The rolled construction between the thumb and index finger prevents any irritating seams in this heavily used area of the glove and also improves the ergonomic fit and wearing comfort.
- Thumb Wrap: The pad expands over the inside of the thumb almost to the back of the hand. The catch area is thus significantly increased and the thumb gets a functional 3D fit.
