Adidas Classic Pro

These goalkeeper gloves from the adidas Classic Series are inspired by the model worn by Fabien Barthez during EURO 2000. They were the first adidas gloves to lift a major European winner's trophy into the air. With Barthez in goal, the French won the final 2-1 after extra time against Italy. This was the second major triumph with the national team after the 1998 World Cup. At club level, Barthez won the Champions League as well as the English and French championships.

Palm/Foam

• URG 2.0: Newly developed adhesive foam from adidas, which has been in use since the 2019 Spring/Summer collection The base consists of 3.5 mm extremely soft foam and an additional cushioning layer. This results in outstanding impact absorption. The very high grip in all weather conditions in combination with a further improved durability make this adhesive foam a perfect choice for all ambitious goalkeepers.

Cut

• Inner seam: This close-fitting cut guarantees a perfect fit and ensures direct ball contact.

Backhand

• Embossed latex for high wearing comfort and optimal grip when fisting
• Mechano-Material: The Mechano-Material of the glove body impresses by its resistance. The very robust material is very lightweight and gives the goalkeeper additional security. The Mechano-Material is also very elastic and adapts perfectly to all deformations of the goalkeeper glove.

Closure

• Stretch-Strap with latex field: this strap, which is wrapped twice around the wrist, offers outstanding stabilisation properties and also a perfect, individual and precise fixation on the wrist. This lightweight construction further increases the flexibility of the glove. The latex field of the strap on the upper side of the wrist provides further stabilisation of the wrist.
• Close-fitting bandage: Without unnecessary seams and without disturbing impairments, the novel application ensures a problem-free and individually adapted entry. No tearing or tugging is necessary for easy entry, which makes everyday use of the top glove much easier.
• Bandage completely integrated into the glove body made of Mechano material for a high wearing comfort, a good and firm fit and a very high flexibility
• double wrap at the thumb: The adhesive foam is pulled at the thumb on both sides up to the Backhand. This creates a very pronounced all-round grip at the thumb and additionally increases the stability of the glove in the area of the thumb.
