Zones: Special zones on the glove to perfect your game.
1. punching zone:
Very flexible zone on the backhand made of rubber elements. Specially designed to fist further and more controlled. The very light construction allows a direct ball control. In addition, this makes the glove very flexible and increases wearing comfort.
2. Extensive tests have shown that this area is most important for safe catching. Therefore, this zone contains the Zone Tech foam, which has outstanding grip properties. A unique latex compound enriched with a special adhesive is used here.
3. Abrasion Zone
This is the area where wear is greatest (e.g. due to ground contact when standing up). At the same time this area hardly comes into contact with the ball. Therefore, it makes sense to use an abrasion-resistant latex coating which increases the longevity of the glove but does not impair the grip when catching.
Palm/Foam
- Evo Zone Tech: The Evo Zone Tech represents the latest development stage of adidas and combines the two foams Zone Tech (grip zone, see above) and Nova (remaining palm area). The special feature is that the two foams are already fused together during production. This results in a seamless transition of the two foams and a perfect interplay of wearing comfort, grip and cushioning. Consists of 3.5 mm foam and 4 mm cushioning.
