GOALKEEPER Classic IC Finger Protect

A classic glove with finger protection elements that combines all the attributes of a high-class goalkeeper glove with a traditional design. In its entirety, the goalkeeper Classic IC Finger Protect offers a very good alternative to other top gloves with finger protection elements on the market.

Palm:

• A 4mm thick top-level adhesive foam is used as the adhesive foam. Due to the soft structure, the adhesive foam has a grip that optimally supports the goalkeeper when catching in all weather conditions. Due to the existing adhesive effect, the ball can be controlled very well even if the catching technique is not quite optimal. The grip properties are fully retained in both dry and wet conditions.

• Below the adhesive foam is a 4mm thick cushioning lamination. The glove thus guarantees impact absorption that leaves nothing to be desired. Even the hardest shots can be braked and controlled very well.

• Despite the softness of the adhesive foam, it is quite abrasion-resistant. Even bets on artificial turf are possible without any major concerns. Even with longer use and any minor abrasions, the grip of the adhesive foam is retained without restrictions.

• The adhesive foam on the thumb is pulled up to the upper edge. This creates an all-round grip, giving maximum ball control at all times. This also increases the stability of the thumb.

Cut:

• Inseam cut: All seams between the catching surface and the glove body run on the inside. As a result, the glove fits the hand snugly and provides the most direct ball contact possible. At the same time, it adapts to the natural shape of the hand due to its cut, which ensures extremely high wearing comfort. Gloves with inner seams can sometimes have annoying seams. That is definitely not the case here. The hand lies well in the glove without slipping, and the glove does not pinch anywhere.

• The thumb is also connected to the back of the hand in the inseam cut, which means that it sits both securely and comfortably in the glove. At the same time, together with the structure of the backhand, this ensures good stability in the thumb area.

• The layers between the catching area and the upper hand are also made of adhesive foam. This ensures that there is always enough adhesive foam and thus contact surface on the ball. Even if the glove should twist in the area of the fingers when catching. There are small holes in the layer for better air circulation, but this does not affect the durability of the adhesive foam.

Backhand:

• The upper hand consists mainly of latex. This extends from the back of the hand to the fingertips. In addition, smaller inserts made of very soft and elastic textile material are incorporated, which significantly increases comfort through good air circulation. The softness of the textile material makes the glove very comfortable to wear.

• Due to the thickness of the adhesive foam on the backhand, the glove has excellent cushioning. This ensures maximum protection and excellent ball control when punching. Even sharp balls can be punched far, precisely and painlessly.

• In the area of the fingers, the structure of the backhand has a positive effect on the stability of the fingers without losing flexibility. This property can also be found on the thumb. Gloves are often flexible, especially in this area, but do not offer any protection for the thumb. However, due to the catching position, this is particularly at risk of injury.

Closure:

• The glove features a classic textile bandage sewn to the glove body. Due to the elastic material, this allows a comfortable slipping into the glove, but at the same time offers a very good fit of the glove on the wrist.

• The bandage has a donning aid, which prevents damage to the adhesive foam when putting it on.

• A 5 cm wide latex strap is used for fixation, which has the same adhesive foam as the catch surface. The adhesive foam provides great protection and very good shock absorption in the pulse area. In addition, the wrist is significantly stabilized and protected, which minimizes the risk of injury. In the event that the ball cannot be caught cleanly, the latex strap increases ball control.

Finger protection:

• The glove is equipped with a 5-finger protection system, which extremely minimizes the risk of injury. It prevents overstretching of the fingers, so that the finger joints are protected as much as possible. Unlike many other models, the thumb also has a protective element. The hand is thus optimally protected by the protection system in combination with the rest of the glove structure.

• At the same time, the flexibility of the hand is hardly affected by the protective elements. The elements themselves are flexible enough to ensure an optimal gripping position of the hand in every situation and to support the anatomical hand position. Thus, the wearing comfort is maintained.
