The limited and exclusive professional models of NIKE from the current FUTURE LAB collection are characterized above all by the high-quality processing and are produced for highest requirements on professional level.
The best goalkeepers in the world like Roman Bürki (Borussia Dortmund), Thibaut Courtois (Belgium/Real Madrid), Alisson Becker (Brazil/Liverpool), Ederson (Manchester City) and many more international top goalkeepers swear by goalkeeper gloves from NIKE and will play in FUTURE LAB design from February 2020.
Catching surface
- 4 mm professional contact foam: The 4 mm thick contact foam on the palm of the hand provides optimum grip in all weather conditions. The underlying cushioning lamination provides sensational impact absorption in every playing situation.
Cut
- Inner seam: With this cut, which is close to the fingers, the glove is sewn from the left. The seam also runs along the edges of the fingers, but does not lie on the outside of the glove, but faces inwards. An advantage for all goalkeepers who like it if the glove lies even closer to the fingers to create an optimal wearing comfort. The fit becomes tighter and the ball control increases. The cut is also often called negative cut, because the seams are not visible on the outside.
Backhand
- High quality latex backhand: The latex material on the backhand is very durable. The very robust material is very light weight and gives the goalkeeper additional security.
- Ventilated back of the hand: The ventilated back of the hand supports the air circulation inside the glove. Slipping inside the glove is counteracted and the disturbance factor is eliminated. The goalkeeper keeps dry hands and is therefore prepared for every situation in the game.
Closure
- Classic textile bandage: This bandage, which is sewn to the glove body, offers a very good penetration into the glove and a pleasantly tight fit at the wrist
- elastic, fully circumferential latex strap for individually adjustable fixation and high stabilization
More Features
- Mesh ventilation on the backhand: The mesh material used provides increased and improved ventilation. The mesh fabric, also known as mesh vinyl, is an elastic fabric with a nertz-like breakthrough and therefore very light and air permeable. A mesh insert is particularly permeable to perspiration that is forced out from the hand. Mesh material is often used in goalkeeper gloves to improve air circulation inside the glove and to prevent slipping inside the glove caused by moisture.
- Stretch material on the palm of the hand ensures a secure fit.
- completely inside sewn backhand for an even tighter fit and a further increased ball feeling
