football idols become reading role models: Bundesliga stars such as Frank Rost, Cacau or Gerald Asamoah are involved with many colleagues in a very special reading promotion project: on the charity audio book "Die Liga readest" (Lübbe Audio) they present exciting and humorous texts about their common passion: football.
With this audio book each person can experience his or her soccer stars in a completely different way, with the following people:

Initiator of the unusual action is Frank Rost, goalkeeper of the HSV: "Professional footballers have a role model function. That means a large responsibility - and a large chance. I would like to use them to introduce reading to boys who are often not very enthusiastic about reading. Because I know that reading opens many doors."
The Football texts come from outstanding authors like for example Elke Heidenreich, Heinrich Böll, Günter Grass, Nick Hornby and Loriot and were made available by the publishing houses and authors for the good purpose free of charge.
The profit of the CD benefits reading promotion projects of the Stiftung Lesen.
